My dancing journey started over 10 years ago when some friends had to convince me to join them to a salsa party, I was blown away watching these dancers and their amazing energy, I knew then that I found a hobby that will stick with me for a long time. I attended many salsa classes in different countries, and when I moved to Vaasa I decided to proceed by creating a community where people can meet and dance, this is when Salsa Vaasa was born.
I have always been a dance lover. Latin dance was not so popular in my country, that led me to start dancing at a late age. I enrolled to my first Salsa class in 2008 in Damascus-Syria. I worked so hard to develop my skills with the limited resources I had. After two years, My partner and I won First Place in a local dancing competition for two years in a row 2010 and 2011. Two years later, we founded our own dance school.
